Barakat-e-Khilafat consists of the addresses of Hadrat Musleh-e-Mau'ud, Mirza Bashirud-Din Mahmud Ahmad Khalifatul-Masih li^ra during the first Jalsah Salanah of his Khilafat in 1914. He started by giving a very detailed personal account of the events after the demise of Hadrat Maulana Nurud-Din" the first Khalifah of the Promised Messiah" and his election to the august office. This is a very important part of the history of Jama'at-e- Ahmadiyya.

In the second part of his first speech, he addressed the issues facing the Jama'at-Politics, marriage between Ahmadis and non-Ahmadis, Zakat, preservation of Jama'at history, settlement of disputes, education and training programs, and doctrinal issues. His insights on these points are as pertinent today as they were then.

The Second speech is a profound discourse on inculcating the love of Allah and also discusses spiritual ranks and their attainment, based primarily on an elaborate commentary on Ayatul-Kursi (2:256).

These addresses are indeed a treasure house of knowledge and wisdom.
